The Mac sometimes will try and put an app to sleep to save battery. When your printing this can be a bad thing as the print will stop and the Mac will lose connection with the printer. If your mac is doing this you can turn it off by following these steps.
- Locate and select the program file in your Applications folder
- Get information on the file by pressing Command-i, or by choosing Get Info from the File or contextual menus.
- Under General, you will see several application options you can enable or disable.
- Select the option to prevent App Nap
MatterControl should no longer pause when it's printing, in the background, or minimized.
