With the EEProm Settings you can adjust many of the settings that your printer uses by default. MatterControl can set EEProm settings for both Marlin and Repatier Repetier firmware.

This is a great way to fix problems you have with you printer not moving the distance you expect, or having your parts come out with incorrect dimensions.
