Function
The amount to remove from the bottom of the model, in millimeters.
Useful for printing portions of a larger print that failed at a certain height so the two pieces can be glued together.
Essentially, this function adjusts the position of the model to be X millimeters below the print bed, then slices everything above. Negative numbers can be used to move the model up instead of down.
Parameters
- millimeters (mm)
Can be zero.
Can be negative.
Example(s)
mm
Specify the amount of the model to remove from slicing, in millimeters. In this example, the bottom 10 mm of the model will not be sliced, and the first layer will start at the layer just above the 10 mm mark.
